How we Work

Our goal is to take the stress out of the web design process by explaining simply, step-by-step, the process of developing a site. We give detailed instructions and advice on what needs to be done. We do this after extensive consultation with you. Before we start any work we give you a written quote for the work.

Here is an example of our process:

• We have an initial contact and discuss your general interest in and reasons for creating or recreating a website
• We meet and talk in more detail about your business goals related to the website

• We provide a written quote for you to approve with a projected timeline
• The quote details the tasks for each party. We will require you to provide us with text, photos, logos and so on.
• Once you approve the quote and provide a deposit, we being working.

• We create a detailed plan for the site
• We look at various designs that would suit your particular business.
• We register a domain name and set up server space as needed.
• Our team beings to put the site together and checks in frequently to see that you approve the design.
• We work together to gather the material for the site

• We proof all our work but the client also needs to proof each page and section
• We present the finished site and ask for final approval. Of course, any necessary changes are made.

• We provide a two-hour training (or more) session for the client if requested as part of the quote.
• We check in with the client to see that all is working well with the site and handle any issues.
